Competitions

Flower Design and Horticulture Exhibitions will be virtual this program year. General Information for participating is included below. Submit photographs of your Flower Design entry or Horticulture specimen with the entry forms included in the schedules. You will need to use a Google account to submit the forms. Click the link, fill out the requested information, upload your photographs, and submit. Entries and Judges comments will be available to view the day of the Program Meeting here on the Club website. The link will be on the home page.

October 10/19 (all levels)

March 3/15(all levels)

HORTICULTURE

October 10/19
Solenostenum scutellaroides (Coleus) – 1 cut stem, non-flowering, a minimum of 3 sets of leaves. (entry form link – closes 10/9)

November 11/16
Ilex (Holly) – 1 cut stem, must include apical tip and several nodes, not to exceed 30” in overall length, non-flowering, a minimum of 3 sets of leaves. (entry form link – closes 11/6)

January 1/25
Cactus or Succulent – container-grown plant, pot size not to exceed 8″ in diameter; may be double-potted, but inner pot should not be visible. (entry form link– closes 1/15)

February 2/22
Helleborus (Hellebore) – 1 cut stem with blooms; stem may have attached leaves. (entry form link– closes 2/12)

March 3/15
Narcissus (daffodil, jonquil) – 1 cut stem, no foliage. (entry form link -closes 3/5)

April 4/19
Tulipa (tulip) – 1 cut stem, minimum of 1 attached leaf. (entry form link– closes 4/9)
